The Roca Mar is located in the south coast of the island of Madeira, in the tourist zone of Canico de Baixo, located between the city of Funchal and Santa Cruzs city. From here, you can enjoy a beautiful and resting view, on the limpid waters of the Atlantic Ocean. We have good accesses to the sea and a great solar exhibition, during the whole year. Take advantage of the pleasant temperatures that you will find here. It is of referring that the air temperatures are on the average of 23oC, being the minimum of 17oC and the maxim of 28oC. With relationship to the temperature of the water the average is of 19oC, the minimum 16oC and the maxim 24oC. Dining: Take your meals at our restaurant and delight yourself with flavours that we have to offer.You can opt, in agreement with your preference, for the international and regional kitchen. Take with you the flavours of the island, perfumed and exotic and know the gastronomy, of this wonderful place. Once a week, take advantage of the animation of the regional folklore. We have several typical plates, at your choice, that are exemplified here: Sword fish in marinated in wine Tuna steak Tuna salted Octopus a Roca Mar Pork marinated wine and garlic Regional Espetada. Another site of this space is the possibility to organise marriage parties, Christening, first communion, managers encounters, etc. Recreation: We have a natural pool with sea water, with a pool-attendant at your disposition, direct sea access and solarium, so that you can take good advantage of the Sun and the calm waters of the Atlantic. We have at your disposition sun beds, sunshades and sweet water showers.
